In order for the policy makers to design and fulfill suitable interventions in community’s psychological management which affected by Covid-19 pandemic, it is necessary to monitor all information about different groups of community in quickly, comprehensive and classified manner at different times. The aim of this study is to develop a questionnaire to evaluate distress level, like this. Considering the RIU knowledge transfer model and using a researcher-designed questionnaire to assess distress level in the general population and health care workers, an online survey was conducted in the summer of 2019 in Tehran province. In the general population, in the study period, all independent variables, including socio-economic stress, respect to health protocols, trust in healthcare officials and job distress of medical staff, have significant effects on general distress. The socio-economic stress variable had the greatest effect. The regression model resulted from this study allows the policymaker to estimate the general distress level of the society according to the independent variables studied. Despite the high effect of stressors, the level of psychological resilience of the study population is acceptable during the study period and they still trust in healthcare officials and respect health protocols. However, considering the differences in the findings of various studies on distress level and its strengthening factors, show the need for accurate and continuous monitoring of societal changes in at different times of the pandemic.

The aim of the present study was to compare the effectiveness of online unified transdiagnostic treatment with an online developed intervention based on training of mindfulness, resilience and emotion regulation on positive and negative meta-emotion components in pregnant women with psychological distress. This study was a clinical trial with pretest, post-test and follow-up. The statistical population consisted of all pregnant women referring to health care centers in Boroujerd city. Forty-five pregnant women with psychological distress were randomly assigned to the intervention groups and one control group using the purposive sampling. Analysis of variance with repeated measures was used to analyze the data. The results showed that Both intervention approaches were effective in improving all components of meta-emotion (p <0.05) and only there was a statistically significant difference in the component of interest between the two treatment groups (P = 0.002). It seems that the results of this study can help health care providers to improve the mental health of pregnant women.

The aim of the present research was to study the effect of mindfulness-based stress reduction program on psychological distress, emotion regulation and enhancement of marital satisfaction in women. The research method was quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest-follow up design with control group. Statistical population included every married woman with more than 18 years of age in Tehran in the year 1396. Research sample was composed of 60 married women with moderate marital satisfaction. They were chosen using convenient sampling technique and were randomly assigned to control and experimental groups. Experimental group took apparent in eight 90-minute sessions, mindfulness based Stress Reduction program. Participants answered Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS, Lovibond & Lovibond, 1995), Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS, Gratz & Roemer, 2004) and the Couples Satisfaction Index (CSI, Funk & Rogge, 2007) in three stages of pretest, posttest and follow up. Data was analyzed using repeated measures ANOVA test. Results demonstrated that mindfulness-based stress reduction program had an influence on improvement of psychological distress (F=8.65, p<0.01), emotion regulation (F=31.39, p<0.0001) and marital satisfaction (F=19.92, p<0.0001) in married women. Accordingly, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program while reducing psychological distress and increasing emotional adjustment skills in women, may have beneficial effects for couple therapy and can be used as one of the methods for promoting marital relationship. Mindfulness training may have beneficial effects for couples' therapy and relationship enhancement.
