The present research aims to investigate the efficacy of self-awareness training on reduction of internet addiction and loneliness and increase self-efficacy the girl students attending in high schools located in the education administration of Mahshahr at academic year of 2013-2104. The sample size consisted of 50 subjects (25 people assigned to experimental group and 25 people treated as control). They were selected through randomized multistage sampling out of the whole statistical population. The tools used include Sevari’s internet addiction questionnaire (2013), Russel, Peplau & Cutrona loneliness questionnaire (1980) & the self-efficacy scale of Sherer et al (1982). The method was semi-empirical and was conducted as pretest-posttest with control group. The experimental group received a training program for 10 sessions, 90 minutes each (a session in a week). The results from multivariate variance analysis and one way variance analysis showed that self–awareness skills training was effective on decreasing internet addiction and loneliness & increase the students’ self-efficacy. The present research showed that and self-awareness skills training can reduce internet addiction and loneliness & increase the students’ self- efficacy.

The aim of this research was to present the life satisfaction path analysis predictive model Predictive Model of Life Satisfaction based on positive psychology constructs. For this purpose, 100 employees of Tehran University were selected by multiple cluster sampling method. The instruments used in this study were spiritual well-being, religiosity, hope, optimism, self-esteem, self-efficacy and life satisfaction. The collected data were analyzed using LISREL 7/8 by path analysis method. Results showed that that in the first presented model only, some indexes were fitted. So the modified model showed better fitting through data. Results indicated that spirituality; religiosity, hope, self-esteem, and self-efficacy variables have significant direct relationship with life satisfaction. Also, there is a significant indirect relationship between spirituality and religiosity with life satisfaction through hope, optimism, self-esteem, and self-efficacy variables. There was not significant relationship between gender, marital and economic status with life satisfaction. Finally in this research the role of positive psychology constructs were confirmed in life satisfaction that this finding indicates the importance of positive psychology constructs in life satisfaction.

AbstractIn developing countries, the majority of female-headed families face many economic and social problems and mental disorders. The present study aimed to examine effectiveness of group cognitive therapy on self-efficacy and depression among women who headed a family. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test and a control group. The sample consisted of 30 women who headed families in city of Kangavar and who received governmental welfare. The subjects were chosen using random sampling and assigned to experimental and control groups. A 10-session group cognitive therapy was given to the experimental group on weekly basis, while the control group received no intervention. The data were collected using Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and Sherer SelfEfficacy Scale, and they were analyzed using multivariate covariance in SPSS 18 software. The results of the covariance analysis showed that group cognitive therapy significantly reduced depression and increased self-efficacy in the experimental group as compared to the control group. The study found that cognitive group therapy waseffective on reducing depression and increasing self-efficacy inwomen who headed a family in the city of Kangavar

Mental health is a multivariate concept that is related to various factors. Unfortunately, the impact of creativity on the development of mental health has been underexamined in the field of clinical therapy.
The present research was designed to investigate the clinical roles of creativity in the prediction and explanation of mental health.
A statistical sample of 120 male and female university students of Tehran was randomly selected through the process of multi-stage cluster sampling. Solomon's four-groups design was implemented in the study. Research tools included Torrance Test of Creative Thinking, Goldberg's General Health Questionnaire, Sherer's General Self-Efficacy Scale, and Folkman and Lazarus's Ways of Coping Questionnaire. The data were analysed using the covariance analysis.
The results of the covariance analysis showed that the activation of creativity in samples could have a significant impact on increasing mental health, self-efficacy and coping.

This study aims to investigate the role of self-efficacy, social support and optimism in predicting mental wellbeing in order to develop a structural model in students. A sample of 293 BA, MA and PhD students from Faculty of Psychology of Allameh Tabataba'i University was selected through stratified sampling method. The collected data were analyzed using LISREL and SPSS software, and the direct, indirect and overall impacts of the variables of self-efficacy, social support and optimism on mental wellbeing were investigated.
The results led to the composition of a model. In the obtained model, the results indicate that a desirable level of self-efficacy, optimism and social support have a significant impact on happiness. In addition, the two variables of self-efficacy and optimism showed a direct and significant impact on happiness. In the discussed model, the variables of self-efficacy and optimism were able to explain 42 percent of the variance of mental wellbeing.
In conclusion, it seems that any increase in the level of the students’ self-efficacy, social support and optimism heightens their feeling of mental wellbeing. As found in the final model, the three variables directly and indirectly improve the feeling of mental wellbeing
