People with borderline personality disorder suffer from a lot of stress and negative emotions, so they experience a stressful life. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) on cognitive fusion, perceived stress and autobiographical memory in individuals with borderline personality disorder. The present study was a quasi-experimental study with pretest, posttest and control group. The statistical population of the study included all people with borderline personality disorder who referred to three counseling centers and a psychiatric clinic in Sanandaj in 1397, which was a total of 40 people. From this statistical population, samples of 30 people who were willing to cooperate and also available were selected, then the selected individuals were randomly assigned to the experimental and control groups. Initially, cognitive fusion, perceived stress and hyper-holistic narrative memory questionnaires were administered in both groups. The experimental group was then treated with Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) for 10 2-hour sessions but the control group did not receive treatment. Then post-test was performed for both groups. Data were analyzed using analysis of covariance. The results showed that acceptance and commitment-based therapy (ACT) has a significant effect autobiographical memory, cognitive fault, cognitive fusion, negative perception of stress and positive perception of stress in people with borderline personality disorder.

Adolescence is one of the important periods of development. Difficulty in coping, emotional regulation and can lead to anxiety disorders. The purpose of this research was the prediction of anxiety-related emotional disorders in adolescences based on emotion regulation, coping strategies and symptoms of borderline personality disorder. Method was descriptive and predictive. Population was the students of middle and high schools in Touyserkan, 2014-2015 that 331 were selected in categorized sampling method. Examinees answered Cross & John Emotion Regulation, Endler & Parker Coping Strategies, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Anxiety-Related Emotional Disorders questionnaires. Data were analyzed by Multivariable Regression method. Data analyze showed that emotion regulation, coping strategies and symptoms of borderline personality disorder can predict anxiety-related emotional disorders (P < 0.05). Also, a significant correlation between emotion regulation and symptoms of anxiety-related emotional disorders, coping strategies with symptoms of anxiety-related emotional disorders, and symptoms of borderline personality disorder with symptoms of anxiety-related emotional disorders (P < 0.05) was obtained.Thus, it is concluded that emotion regulation, type of coping of adolescences and the rate of emerge of borderline personality disorder symptoms have important role in appearance of symptoms of anxiety-related emotional disorders; and appearance or lack of such disorders can be predicted based on psychological features that mentioned.

Sensory and semantic information processing are two important factors in determining behavioral reactions. The aim of the current study was to compare of sensory and semantic information processing between borderline personality disorder people and normal ones. The descriptive study was causal-comparative (ex post facto) in design and the statistical population of the current study comprised of people who had registered to obtain services from the Psychiatric Center of Iran. The purposive sampling approach was adopted and thirty patients with borderline personality disorder (BPD) and thirty healthy controls were included in the study. Sensory and semantic information processing were assessed with Brown Adult Sensory Profile Questionnaire (BASPQ) and Osgood Semantic Differentiation Questionnaire (OSDQ). MANOVA test was applied to analyze data. The study's results were that individuals with BPD displayed significant differences in components of sensory sensitivity and sensation avoiding and all components of the semantic processing (life's component) (p<0.05).The study's conclusions were that while BPD involves deficits in sensory sensitivity and sensation avoiding. Furthermore, relative to healthy controls, BPD patients assess live more potency, more agitated, more dangerous and more negative. These findings were discussed.

The complex nature of borderline personality disorder, review and development of new treatments will be required. This study aimed at intervening the subjective well-being and reducing impulsive behaviors of men with borderline personality disorder: Efficiency and effectiveness cognitive analytic therapy was administered. This was a pilot study and pre-test and post-test follow-up were used as controls. Population in this study was all of the men with borderline personality disorder admitted to a psychiatric hospital and psychiatric clinic in 2013 in Kermanshah perfect form.Using purposive sampling, based on the referring neurologist, 40 male patients with borderline personality disorder, the 50 patients referred to psychiatric clinics, psychiatric hospitals, Farabi, according to the admission of the patient to participate in the study, in the first place and clinical interview (SCID-II) based on DSM-IV, and 3 million tests were selected. That was, the men referred to those who score higher than (BR>84) on a scale of borderline personality MCMI-III. This collection of instruments, including the Structured Clinical Interview for personality disorders, mental Wellbeing scale, and impulsiveness test was 3 million. Both the pre-test, post-test and two-month follow-up was performed for statistical analysis of data from multivariate analysis of covariance was used. Findings of multivariate analysis of covariance showed that psychological therapy - Analysis of the Improving social Wellbeing, emotional, and psychological and decrease impulsiveness is effective in men with borderline personality disorder. Data analysis revealed that post-test and follow-up between the control and experimental groups, the social Wellbeing, emotional, psychological, and impulsiveness there are significant differences. According to our findings, cognitive - a method of analysis strategies for improving social Wellbeing, emotional, and psychological and reduce impulsiveness in patients with borderline personality disorder and it can be a suitable intervention profit search.

Recent studies indicating that exploring mental problems of prisoners one providing mental health services for them were the most important areas for psychologists and psychiatrists; according to the spread on abnormalities and personality disorders in the prisoners in comparison with normal population so the necessity of psychotherapies is well informed for them. The purpose of this study was to exploring the effectiveness of humanistic existential group therapy in reducing sysptoms of borderline personality disorder. In this study 105 male prisoners eith borderline personality disorder were determined using preliminary screening of 400 prisoners in central prison in bojnourd city and 34 of them were selected using random sampling. According to the results humanistic existential group therapy could be a selective therapy in treatment of borderline personality disorder.
