The purpose of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of practical training of intimate communication skills on love styles, psychological well-being, emotional abuse and marital tension in married women. The research method was a semi-experimental pre-test-post-test type with a control group. The socio-statistics of the research included all married women who referred to the health centers of Mahdishahr city in 2019. Among these, 30 people were selected by available sampling method and were randomly divided into two experimental (15 people) and control (15 people) groups. The participants of both groups completed questionnaires of lovemaking styles, psychological well-being, emotional abuse and marital tension in the pre-test and post-test. The practical training of sincere communication skills was carried out in 10 sessions of 90 minutes with the frequency of one session per week on the experimental group. Data were analyzed by multivariate analysis of covariance. The results showed that the practical training of intimate communication skills reduced emotional abuse and marital tension and improved psychological well-being and love styles in the group that was trained, but no significant difference was observed in the friendly love style. As a result, this method can be used to reduce conflicts and improve the quality of married life in couples.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of “listening to children respectfully” package on enhancing 5 and 6-year-old children’s well- being. 42 mother and child pairs were selected. They were initially tested with CBCL and SCL90 questionnaires to make sure none of them are suffering from behavioral or psychological disorders. They were accidentally divided to experiment and control groups. Children of both groups filled the children’s psychological well-being scale in 3 stages: pre-test, post-test and follow up, and the package was taught to mothers of experiment group in 6 sessions. Analytical method was MANOVA for analyzing data. Findings revealed that well- being scores of children in experimental group significantly increased after intervention for their mothers. The scores were still high after two-month follow up. Findings of this research were discussed considering previous research. Limitations of the study and suggestions for future research are also given.

The present study aims at determining the effectiveness of rationalemotive behavioral group therapy in psychological well-being of women. The type study was applied and semi-experimental (pretestposttest with control group). Using convenience sampling method, 24 patients were selected from among the women who participated in the psychology classes of the ‘health house’ in District 5 of the Municipality of Tabriz based on their low scores in Ryff's Scale of Psychological Well-Being (RSPWB). The selected patients were then randomly divided into experimental and control groups. Next, in the experimental group, intervention rational-emotive behavioral group therapy was conducted for 8 sessions (one 2-hour session per week). The results of the one-way covariance analysis showed that after the application of the independent variable (rational-emotive behavioralgroup therapy), there was a significant difference between the experimental and the control groups. Therefore, it can be concludedthat rational-emotive behavioral group therapy is effective (P <0/000)in the psychological well-being of women.
