The present study aimed to compare effectiveness of these two techniques in women with major depression from Tehran. This study was a semi-experimental design with pretest-posttest and control group. The study was conducted on women referring four counseling clinics in Tehran during summer and autumn of 1397, and based on psychiatrists interviews and DSM 5 criteria, had major depression disorder. Subjects took part in this study voluntarily and their replacement in two groups of neurofeedback method and cognitive-behavioral therapy was done randomly using random numbers. Participants were in three groups: group of neurofeedback treatment (15 patients), cognitive therapy protocol group (15 patients), and control group (15 patients) who didn’t receive treatment interventions. Lovibond and Lovibond depression anxiety stress scale (DASS) questionnaire was used for data collection. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, variance analysis and dependent T test. After intervention in cognitive-behavioral group, the mean score for cognitive-behavioral treatment group had 26 reduction (recovery of patients). While scores in neurofeedback grouphad 22 grades reduction (recovery of patients). Neurofeedback is an effective therapeutic option for reducing depression in treatment center. Therefore, psychologists can use neurofeedback treatment for reducing depression. Keywords: cognitive-behavioral therapy, neurofeedback, major depression, adult women

The purpose of this study was to compare the efficacy of acceptance and commitment therapy and the approach of marital amateur therapy on married women's resiliency. The research method was quasi-experimental with pre-test-post-test design with control group. The statistical population of the present study included married women referred to counseling centers of Gorgan in 1397. In this research, random volunteer random sampling was used. After selecting the sample size and assigning them to the two experimental groups and one control group, the experimental groups received educational interventions in a three-month weekly, one 90-minute session. The questionnaires used in this study included Barati and Snyay Marital Conflict Questionnaire (1375) and resiliency Scale (Connor & Davidson, 2003). The collected data were analyzed by Covariance Analysis using SPSS23 software. The results of data analysis showed that acceptance and commitment therapy and empowerment therapy were effective on the resiliency of married women referring to counseling centers (p <0.001). Also, there was no significant difference between the effectiveness of treatment-based therapy based on acceptance and commitment and empowerment therapy on the marital support of married women referring to counseling centers (P> 0.05). Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that acceptance and commitment therapy and imaging therapy has similar effects on the resiliency of women with marital conflicts and these two methods can be used to improve the resiliency women.

Enhancement of marital satisfaction is an important approach for improvement of family cohesion and community health. The aim of the present research was to study the effect of mindfulness-based stress reduction program on psychological distress, emotion regulation and enhancement of marital satisfaction in women. The research method was quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest-follow up design with control group. Statistical population included every married woman with more than 18 years of age in Tehran in the year 1396. Research sample was composed of 60 married women with moderate marital satisfaction. They were chosen using convenient sampling technique and were randomly assigned to control and experimental groups. Experimental group took apparent in eight 90-minute sessions, mindfulness based Stress Reduction program. Participants answered Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS, Lovibond & Lovibond, 1995), Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS, Gratz & Roemer, 2004) and the Couples Satisfaction Index (CSI, Funk & Rogge, 2007) in three stages of pretest, posttest and follow up. Data was analyzed using repeated measures ANOVA test. Results demonstrated that mindfulness-based stress reduction program had an influence on improvement of psychological distress (F=8.65, p<0.01), emotion regulation (F=31.39, p<0.0001) and marital satisfaction (F=19.92, p<0.0001) in married women. Accordingly, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program while reducing psychological distress and increasing emotional adjustment skills in women, may have beneficial effects for couple therapy and can be used as one of the methods for promoting marital relationship. Mindfulness training may have beneficial effects for couples' therapy and relationship enhancement.

Interpersonal transgressions and suffering have an important role in the formation and persistence of psychological disorders. This study evaluates the effect of forgiveness group therapy on the symptoms of depression and rumination of dysthymic women according to the findings about the relationship between forgiveness of interpersonal transgressions in the past and reduction of depression symptoms. This research was a quasi-experimental study with a sample of 16 women. Subjects were selected from samples available in a psychiatric clinic. Subject selection was based on the entry criteria and psychiatric diagnosis. Patients were randomly assigned to control and experimental groups. In experimental group, the treatment based on forgiveness was held in 6 ninety-minute sessions (once a week). The control group did not receive the intervention. The research data were collected by the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) questionnaire, Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivations Scale (TRIM-12) and Rumination about an Interpersonal Offense Scale (RIO).Covariance analysis was used to analyze data of this study. Evaluations after treatment showed that, forgiveness group therapy was significantly effective (alpha <0.05) in reducing depression symptom and rumination in dysthymic women. It is concluded from the findings of this study that forgiveness group therapy can benefit for reducing depression symptom and rumination.
