چکیده

هدف: هدف این پژوهش بررسی تاثیر معنویت­درمانی بر افسردگی زنان سالمند ساکن در آسایشگاه سالمندان بود.
روش: این پژوهش جزء طرح­های نیمه­تجربی طبقه­بندی می­شود و به شیوه پیش­آزمون- پس­آزمون روی 34 زن سالمند مبتلا به افسردگی در خانه سالمندان کهریزک انجام شد. پس از اجرای آزمون افسردگی سالمندان GDS (1993) افرادی که نمره 15 یا بالاتر در آزمون کسب کردند به روش تصادفی ساده انتخاب و به طورتصادفی در دو گروه آزمایشی و کنترل جایگزین شدند. روی گروه آزمایشی 10 جلسه معنویت­درمانی صورت گرفت و سپس دوباره آزمون GDS به دو گروه داده شد. برای تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها از آزمون t استفاده شد.
یافته­ها: تجزیه و تحلیل آماری نشان داد که معنویت­درمانی باعث کاهش افسردگی در زنان سالمند در آسایشگاه شد و بین دو گروه آزمایش و کنترل تفاوت معنی­داری وجود دارد.
نتیجه­گیری: معنویت­درمانی به عنوان یک مداخله توانبخشی و غیرعضوی می­توانند سبب بهبود زنان سالمند مبتلا به افسردگی شود.

Objectives: The present research aims to study the effect of spiritual therapy on depression in elderly women residing in nursing homes.
Method: This was a quasi-experimental research applying the method of pre-test and post-test. The subjects included 34 elderly women suffering from depression residing in Kahrizak nursing home. After the Geriatric Depression Scale ‘GDS’ (1993) was carried out, the subjects scored 15 or higher were randomly selected by using simple sampling method. Then, they were randomly assigned to experiment and control groups. The experiment group received 10 sessions of spiritual therapy. Subsequently, the GDS test was carried out again to both groups. T-test was used to analyze the data.
Results:The results showed that there was a significant difference between the experiment and control groups in terms of GDS score, and that spiritual therapy could decrease the rate of depression in elderly women residing in the nursing home.
Conclusion: Spiritual therapy, as a rehabilitation and nonorganic interference, can help betterment of depression in elderly women.
