Abstract

As the most important asset of this organization, the human resources working in social emergency experience many psychological injuries, which is necessary to reduce these injuries by applying appropriate treatments; Therefore, the current research was conducted with the aim of developing and validating a training program based on spiritual health and its effectiveness on reducing perceived stress and psychological well-being of social emergency workers. The research method was semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population included all the employees of the social emergency department of Tehran in 1402-1403, who were selected by the available sampling method and 30 social emergency employees were randomly selected and replaced in two experimental and control groups. In order to collect data, the perceived stress scale of Cohen et al. (1983) and the psychological well-being scale of Rief (2002) were used. The subjects of the experimental group participated in the spiritual health group program for 10 sessions of 90 minutes twice a week for a period of one and a half months, but the control group did not receive any intervention. Covariance analysis was used to analyze the data. The results showed that spiritual health training has a significant effect on the perceived stress and psychological well-being of social emergency workers. Spiritual health skills training can help improve psychological well-being and reduce the perceived stress of social welfare emergency department employees; Therefore, this intervention can be used as an effective treatment method in organizational settings.
