Master Narratives are shared, sociocultural stories that contain common concepts within a specific culture and could be elicited from the personal narratives. These massive societal structures are originally the context of personal narratives as they offer appropriate material for personal narratives. The cultural narratives are not frozen and fixed in time; they modify and transform through history. Cultural meanings have been altered down the generations and the dominant narratives have inspired individuals in making their life narrative accounts. This study aims to reach the repetitive themes and the common contents of individuals’ personal narratives by analyzing them with quantitative and qualitative methods. To do so we conducted an open interview to collect the life narratives of 30 adults around the potentially conflictual identity issue of religious and sexual development. Participants also answered the HEXACO personality inventory and the Circumplex Religious Orientation Inventory (CROI). In the quantitative part, we analyzed the narratives conducting McAdams’ (1999) reliable coding schemes. In the qualitative part, the master narrative model proposed by Syed and McLean (2015) was used for the analysis. Results illustrated common repetitive themes in life narrative accounts which are considered as common societal stories. Within the massive sociocultural context, the Religious Traditional Master Narrative is in contrast with the Modern Alternative Narrative and this enormous conflict has been reflected in individuals’ identity structure. Individuals internalize this conflict while internalizing the religious traditional master narrative and negotiating with the modern alternative one. In addition, Tradition has been identified as an autonomous factor which functions independently from the religion within the cultural context of Iran.

The purpose of this study was to design a comprehensive mental health promotion model in girls' schools in Tehran. Method: The research method is a mixed (quantitative-qualitative) method. The statistical population of this study included all students of Tehran girls' schools who were studying in the academic year of 96-97. The sample consisted of 150 female students in Tehran who were selected by cluster random sampling method. The instruments used included General Health Questionnaire, Neo Characteristics, Family Valuation, Social Support, and Economic and Educational Factors. Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The findings showed that personality trait (0.63) was more than other factors, family relationships (0.43), social factors (0.37), and educational factors (0.51) could explain the variance of mental health in students. Family relationships play a decisive role in mental health of students. Among family factors, the component of emotional reactions in the family with a coefficient of 0.75 was able to play a more important role. There is a significant relationship between educational achievement and students' health at the level of 0.001. The coefficient of behavior of teachers with mental health of students is equal to 0.59 and significant. Also, the coefficient of school staffing path with mental health of students is equal to 0.51 and significant. educational factors such as the behavior of teachers and school staff can play an effective role in improving mental health of students. Also, out of a variety of personality traits, the extraversion feature is able to predict mental health of students with a coefficient of 0.46, as compared to other characteristics. B it can be suggested by holding workshops and related educational programs for students (providing leaflets), while clarifying the effect of different factors on their mental health, to address the deficiencies in walked this field.

Paying attention to the nurse’s affects at hospitals can cause development in well-being in addition to enhancement of patient-nurse relationship. It also increase the job performance. Current study aimed to explore the effect of Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) training on aspects of professional quality of life in nursing students. A quasi-experimental research method was adopted using a pretest-posttest with control group design. Research participants included 46 nursing student in medical science university of Hamedan. After contribution of professional quality of life questionnaires (Stamm,2010) among 150 people, 46 people who got medium or less score in professional quality of life questionnaire and were tendency to attend 8 session training class, placed in experiment and control group randomly. Experiment group was trained MSC in 8 sessions and each session was 1.5 hour. After that post-test was contributed in both groups. At last Analyze of Covariance was used for data analysis of 38 people because sample group had a decrease. Results showed that MSC training had significant effect on decrease of secondary traumatic stress (F=22/76, p<0/001) and burnout (F=11/70, P<0/002), and also on increase of compassion satisfaction (F=30.35, P<0.001). According to results of current study, MSC training can be used for decrease of secondary traumatic stress and burnout and increase of compassion satisfaction in nursing students.

The present study examined the mediationg role of driving anger on the relationship between personality traits and aggressive driving behaviors among drivers. In this correlational study, 400 drivirs responded to the Five Factor Inventory (FFI, John & Srivastava, 1999), the Driving Anger Scale (DAS; Deffenbacher, Oetting, & Lynch, 1994) and the Driving Anger Expression Inventory (DAEI; Deffenbacher, Lynch, Oetting & Swaim, 2002). Results showed that there is a positive significant correlation between neurotism with anger emotion and non-adaptive expression of driving anger and there is negative significant correlation between neurotism with adaptive expression of anger driving. Results also indicated that there is a negative significant correlation between extraversion, conscensciesness, agreeableness and openness to expriences with anger emotion and non-adaptive expression of driving anger and positive significant correlation with adaptive expression of driving anger. Results showed that the partially mediated model of driving anger on the relationship between personality traits and anger expression had acceptable fit to data. In sum, these finding show that the part of available variance in aggressive driving behaviors in the context of prediction by personality traits, accounted for driving anger emotion.

According to the World Health Organization, stroke is a series of sudden clinical symptoms. And it has no obvious cause other than vascular origin. Defective working memory is one of the most commonly occurring phenomena after brain damage. Attention and executive function (problem solving) are closely related to working memory. Cognitive Rehabilitation is a cognitive intervention program designed to rehabilitate cognitive deficiencies. The present study examined the effect of cognitive rehabilitation on spatial / verbal working memory, selective and divided attention, and problem solving in adults with stroke. 20 patients were equally divided into experimental and control groups. Cognitive rehabilitation computer program was performed 5 weeks and 5 days a week, and for 30-40 minutes. The research variables were measured by Wechsler's working memory test, N-back spatial working memory test, selective and divided attention program, Wisconsin sorting card test before and after the rehabilitation program. Significant improvement was observed in auditory and visual working memory and selective attention. This recovery may be due to changes in neural organization in response to injury. The cognitive rehabilitation program makes to re-learn mental acts and is based on brain flexibility that improves working memory and selective attention of patients. It seems that the lack of improvement observed in divided attention and problem solving is due to the lack of coordination and parallel processing in different regions of the brain due to infarct tissues.

The purpose of this study was to compare the efficacy of acceptance and commitment therapy and the approach of marital amateur therapy on married women's resiliency. The research method was quasi-experimental with pre-test-post-test design with control group. The statistical population of the present study included married women referred to counseling centers of Gorgan in 1397. In this research, random volunteer random sampling was used. After selecting the sample size and assigning them to the two experimental groups and one control group, the experimental groups received educational interventions in a three-month weekly, one 90-minute session. The questionnaires used in this study included Barati and Snyay Marital Conflict Questionnaire (1375) and resiliency Scale (Connor & Davidson, 2003). The collected data were analyzed by Covariance Analysis using SPSS23 software. The results of data analysis showed that acceptance and commitment therapy and empowerment therapy were effective on the resiliency of married women referring to counseling centers (p <0.001). Also, there was no significant difference between the effectiveness of treatment-based therapy based on acceptance and commitment and empowerment therapy on the marital support of married women referring to counseling centers (P> 0.05). Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that acceptance and commitment therapy and imaging therapy has similar effects on the resiliency of women with marital conflicts and these two methods can be used to improve the resiliency women.
