The aim of this study was to examine the prediction of personality disorders based on complex trauma with the mediating of ego empowerment. The research method was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population of the present study was all male and female undergraduate students of Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University in Tehran in the first semester of the academic year 2020-2021. A total of 161 girls and boys participated in this study by available random sampling method. To collect research data, Scales of Personality Questionnaire (SCID-II), Bell Object Relationship Questionnaire (BORI) and Ego Empowerment Scale (PIES) were used. The collected data were analyzed through Pearson correlation coefficient and path analysis. Findings showed all research variables had a significant correlation with each other. Complex trauma %-34.5 of ego empowerment variance has explained negatively. Complex trauma with the mediating role of ego empowerment has been able to predict %25/1 of the variance of personality disorders in and student teachers. Also, complex trauma has been able to explain %41/7 of the variance of personality disorders in student teachers alone. In general, when a childhood complex trauma develops in the student teachers, the ego also grows poorly, and as a result, the student teachers are exposed to personality disorders.

The purpose of this study was to prepare a Persian version of the Security in the Inter-Parental Subsystem scales (SIS), and to examine its psychometric properties in the Iranian adolescent community. The English version of the SIS questionnaire was translated and back-translated prior to its administration to 587 students (269 boys and 318 girls) from the first and second grades of high school in Shiraz at 2019-2020. After administration, the internal consistency coefficient (Cronbach's alpha) was calculated to validate the subscales and also exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was assessed to examine the factor structure and validation of the questionnaire. In examining the factor structure of this questionnaire, 9 factors were extracted using the exploratory factor analysis method, which explained 57.8% of the variance The results of confirmatory factor analysis also indicated aد acceptable fit of the 9-factor model. The range of alpha coefficients in the girls group was between 0.34 to 0.82, in the boys group between 0.20 to 0.80 and in the whole scale was between 0.29 to 0.80. According to the results of the study, the Persian version of the Security in the interparental subsystem scales has good reliability and validity in Iranian population and is a appropriate tool for clinical and research opportunities.

This study aimed to design and test a structural model of eating disorders symptoms in women based on the internalization of media models with the mediating role of eating-related beliefs and body dysmorphic concern in female students. The research design was correlational. 298 female students of the Islamic Azad University of Khomeini Shahr in the academic year 2019-2020 were selected as the research sample using cluster sampling method and responded to the Body Image Concern Inventory (BICI, Littleton and et al., 2005), Socio-cultural Attitudes Toward Appearance Questionnaire-third edition (SATAQ-3, Thompson and et al., 2004), Eating Disorder Belief Questionnaire (EDBQ, Cooper and et al., 1997), and Eating Attitudes Test (EAT, Garner and et al., 1982). To test the model of the research, the structural equation modeling method was used. In this analysis, the maximum likelihood method was used to estimate the model parameters, and the bootstrap method was used to investigate the significance of the model effects. Data were analyzed using SPSSV24 and AMOSV24 software. The results showed that the fit indices of the model are desirable. Examination of the model parameters showed that all direct effects of the model are significant; the indirect effects of internalization of media models on the symptoms of eating disorders through eating-related beliefs and body dysmorphic concern are also significant. In general, these results show that the internalization of media patterns leads to the strengthening of dysfunctional beliefs of people about eating and body dysmorphic concern, and thus, the symptoms of eating disorders intensify in them. These results show the special importance of internalization of media models in the occurrence of eating problems and incompatibilities in Iranian women. Therefore, by managing the effects of the media, these problems in the women's community can be reduced.

Sexual abuse is a trauma caused by injury, which seriously threatens the health of adolescents and makes them need professional help. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effectiveness of mindfulness-based therapy in improving resilience and reducing the clinical symptoms of adolescents with post-traumatic stress disorder caused by sexual harassment. The research design was a single subject with a follow-up period. The statistical population of the study included all 12 to 18-year-old girls with post-traumatic stress disorder due to sexual harassment in Izeh city who referred to the social emergency center in 2020. Two of them were selected through purposive sampling. Three baseline sessions were performed for each participant. Evaluations were done using the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Symptom Scale (Foa et al., 2018) and the Resilience Questionnaire (Connor and Davidson, 2003) at baseline, intervention sessions, and one month after treatment (follow-up). The intervention was performed individually based on mindfulness in 8 sessions. Data analysis was done using visual analysis of graph, recovery percentage and reliable percentage index. The results showed that both subjects showed a decreasing and improving trend in the scale of post-traumatic stress disorder syndrome and an increasing and improving trend in the Conner and Davidson Resilience Scale scores. Subjects preserved these results for up to one month after treatment. Based on the findings of the research, it is recommended that therapists in the field of children and adolescents use mindfulness therapies to achieve more effectiveness in increasing resilience and improving stress symptoms.

Introduction: The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of virtual sensory rehabilitation (Tele rehabilitation) in the home environment on reducing stereotyped and impulsive behaviors of autistic children during the coronavirus pandemic. The research method for data collection was quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test design with control group. The statistical population included all families of children with autism at the Autism Center of Tehran on 2020. Out of the total population, 16 families with autistic children who were in home quarantine were selected as a sample and randomly assigned to the experimental (n = 8) and control (n = 8) groups. The Budfish (2000) scale was used to collect data. Analysis of covariance with application assumptions was used to analyze the data. The rehabilitation program of sensorimotor exercises was performed in 21 consecutive sessions in four months for the experimental group. The results showed that the tele rehabilitation program significantly improved the challenging behaviors of autistic children in the family environment at the level of P <0.01, due to the vulnerability of autistic children to the corona virus and the closure of rehabilitation centers and to prevent regression and exacerbation. Behaviors of autistic children and also due to the effectiveness of the tele rehabilitation program, the use of this program at home is recommended, of course, with all the points of professional rehabilitation.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity and impulsive behaviors that are more severe than those commonly observed in children with the same developmental levels. Academic boredom is associated with loss of human resources and high financial costs; it is one of the major issues that any educational system may be faced with. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effectiveness of computer-assisted cognitive remediation on academic boredom among students with ADHD. The participants in this study included 24 (12 boys and 12 girls) students with ADHD and in the sixth to ninth grades of the seventh district of Tehran in the academic year of 2018-19. They were selected based on inclusion and conclusion criteria and they randomly assigned to two experimental and control groups. They completed the academic emotions questionnaire (Pekrun, & et al, 2002) in the pre-test, post-test, and follow-up. The experimental group received 20 sessions of computer-assisted cognitive remediation during ten weeks (30 minutes session, two times per week). The data were analyzed with repeated measure analysis of variance in the SPSS-26 software environment. The findings indicated that all subscales of academic boredom among students with ADHD were significantly improved, with a moderate effect size. This early development and evaluation of computerized rehabilitation intervention for students with ADHD can take the first step in filling the gap in current clinical literature and it is expected a significant improvement and clinical efficacy in the performance of children with ADHD.
