Objective: Becoming heads of households by women is one of the most common psychological and social issues. The present study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of group therapy based on emotional schema therapy on balancing the dark personality traits, and increasing flourishing and cognitive flexibility among female heads of households.Research Methodology: This was a quasi-experimental study with a pre-test and post-test with a control group. The statistical population of the present study included all female heads of households of low socio-economic level. Among them, 30 females were selected through the convenience and purposeful sampling method and randomly assigned to experimental (N=15) and control groups (N=15). Subjects completed the Dark Triad Dirty Dozen (Jonason & Webster, 2010), Flourishing Scale (Diener et al., 2009), and Cognitive Flexibility Inventory (Dennis & Vander Wal, 2010). The experimental group received 10 sessions of emotional schema therapy and the control group received cooking training. Both groups completed the questionnaires in two stages before and after the intervention. Multivariate Analysis of Covariance was used to analyze the data.Findings: Results showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups in terms of dark personality traits, flourishing, and cognitive flexibility (p<0.001).Conclusion: Thus, Emotional Schema Therapy could help balance dark personality traits and increase the flourishing and cognitive flexibility of female heads of household.

Objective: Depression is a common and recurrent mental disorder and one of the main causes of disability. A large number of depressed people report intrusive negative memories, however, there is no specific therapeutic strategy that specifically targets these memories. In this regard, imagery rescripting is a psychotherapeutic technique that addresses memories and previous experiences and aims to improve negative emotions by changing the inner representation of negative memories and images. Although the treatment was initially developed for traumatized individuals, several interventions have yielded promising results for people suffering from other psychological disorders as well. Also, it seems that the interest in and applications of imagery rescripting for depression are quickly increasing. In this direction, the purpose of this article is to review clinical studies assessing the effects of imagery rescripting on depression, as well as possible processes underlying imagery rescripting.Research Methodology: The present study is a review article that has been collected through study of 37 articles in the field of imagery rescripting, rescripting, imagery, mental imagery, mental images، intrusive memories and depression.Findings: The review shows that imagery rescripting is associated with a reduction in cognitive, emotional and behavioral symptoms of depression and related distresses and is an effective intervention for depression, distress of aversive memories and other related variables. Conclusion: Overall, it seems that more research is needed to compare different imagery rescripting protocols, investigate mechanisms of change, evaluate modulating factors and therapeutic changes for more effectiveness. Therefore, based on the review, a future research agenda is proposed to provide a sketch for further research in Iranian society.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between early maladaptive schemas and obsessive-compulsive disorder: the mediating role of self-regulation.
Research Methodology: The research method was descriptive-correlation based on structural equations. The statistical population of the study was all patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder referred to public and private psychiatric clinics in Kermanshah City in 2021. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria and receiving the diagnosis of obsessive-compulsive disorder by a psychiatrist and based on structured clinical interviews (DSM-5) were selected by convenience sampling. Research tools included obsessive-compulsive disorder questionnaires Foa et al (2002), Self-regulation Ibanez et al (2005), and young schemas (2005). Descriptive indices and structural equation analysis in SPSS-21 and PLS-3 software were used to analyze the data.
Findings: The results showed that the proposed model has a good fit (NFI = 0.90 and SRMR = 0.079). The results of the analysis showed that early maladaptive schemas have a positive and significant relationship with obsessive-compulsive disorder and self-regulation has a negative and significant relationship with obsessive-compulsive disorder. Primary maladaptive schemas also affect obsessive-compulsive disorder through self-regulation.
Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that the role of early maladaptive schemas and self-regulation should be considered in designing psychological interventions for patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Objective: The aim of the present study was the effectiveness of the assertiveness training program on the health-promoting behaviors of bullied adolescents.Research Methodology: The research method was semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design and a one-month follow-up with experimental and control groups. The statistical population included adolescents aged 14 to 17 years old in district 17 of public schools in Tehran. A number of 40 teenagers who met the criteria for entering the research and obtained a high score in Harter's victim questionnaire were randomly selected and assigned to two experimental and control groups. The research tools included Walker et al.'s (1987) health-promoting behaviors questionnaire, which was completed by both groups in three phases: pre-test-post-test and one-month follow-up. The assertiveness training program for victimized teenagers was implemented in 8 sessions of 90 minutes for the experimental group. Data were analyzed using repeated measures multivariate analysis of variance.Findings: The results showed that the assertiveness training program to victimized teenagers in the variables of happiness and spiritual growth (F=6.44 and P=0.003), responsibility for health (F=327 and P=0.002), interpersonal relationships (4.47=4) F and P=0.019), stress management (F=5.10 and P=0.009) and nutrition (F=4.52 and P=0.022) have an effect. While this amount was not effective for the variable of physical activity (F=0.01 and P=0.988).Conclusion: Finally, based on the results of this research, it can be said that the assertiveness training program is effective on the health-promoting behaviors of 14-17-year-old teenagers, and this training can be used to improve their health, and the awareness of parents, teachers, managers, and other professionals about these trainings can be helpful.
