چکیده

از جمله مشکلات بسیاری از یادگیرندگان، تعلل ورزی یا به تعویق انداختن کارها و تکالیف خود است.
پژوهش حاضر با هدف شناسایی رابطه ویژگی‌های شخصیتی (پنج ‌عامل اصلی شامل بی‌ثباتی هیجانی، برون‌گرایی، باز بودن به تجربه‌ها، توافق و وجدانی بودن)با میزان تعلل‌ورزی تحصیلی ورزشکاران انجام شد.جامعه آماری متشکل از کلیه دانشجویان ورزشکار دانشگاه پیام نور اسلام آباد غرب بود و نمونه مورد مطالعه (120 نفر) با استفاده از روش نمونه گیری در دسترس و هدفمند انتخاب شدند. ابزار‌های پژوهش شامل پرسشنامه تعلل ورزی شوارزر شیمینز و دیهیل و پرسشنامه پنج‌عاملی شخصیتی NEO-FFI بود. تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها با استفاده از روش های همبستگی ساده، تحلیل رگرسیون چندگانه، و آزمون t برای گروه های مستقل انجام شد.تحلیل دادها نشان داد که به طور کلی متغیرهای شخصیتی (پنج مولفه شخصیت) با تعلل ورزی همبستگی معنادار دارند. متغیر بی ثباتی هیجانی و برونگرایی در کل دانشجویان ورزشکار دختر و پسر پیش بینی کننده خوبی برای تعلل ورزی بود. حال آنکه متغیر وظیفه شناسی و بی ثباتی هیجانی در گروه نمونه دختران پیش بینی کننده بود. دیگر نتایج دال بر آن بود که متغیرهای بی ثباتی هیجانی و برونگرایی با تعلل ورزی در دانشجویان ورزشکار پسر همبستگی معنادار نشان داد. همچنین مقایسه دانشجویان دختر و پسر نشان داد که بین آنها از نظر سطح تعلل ورزی، تفاوت معناداری وجود دارد، ولی فرض وجود تفاوت در میزان تعلل ورزی دانشجویان متاهل و مجرد معنی دار نبود.
با توجه به شیوع تعلل‌ورزی و اثرات آن در دانشجویان، ارایه مداخلات و آموزش‌هایی برای افزایش خود تنظیمی و مدیریت زمان به دانشجویان ضروری می‌‍باشد.

چکیده [English]

one of the most relevant problems of learners is procrastination.
The aim of the present study was to investigate the relationship between the Big five factors (Neuroticism, Extroversion, Openness to experience, Agreeableness & Conscientiousness) and academic procrastination in athletic students.
In this regards, from statistical population (all female and male students in Payamnor University, Islamabad Gharb center), 120 students were selected with goal-oriented sampling method. Instruments were procrastination scale and (NEO (NEO-PI-R five-factor inventory. The data were analyzed with correlation coefficient, multiple liner regression and independent sample t- test.
Result showed that; there is significant relationship between personality factors (the big five) and procrastination. Moreover, Results indicated that Neuroticism and Extroversion can predict procrastination in all students. But Conscientiousness and Neuroticism were good predictors of procrastination in female. Also there is a significant difference between female and male students in the level of procrastination. Finally there is no significant difference between married and single students groups in level of procrastination.
In according to prevalence of academic procrastination and its influences on students, an intervention for enhancing self regulation and self management in student is necessary.
